FPS drops with Operation 5?

I have been playing gears 5 since launch on Windows Store, and now that it was 9,99€ on steam i bought it and installed it.

I was testing the new maps and i get really big fps drops, dont know why. Am I the only one? How can I fix? I play with the recommended settings for my PC.

My custom build is as follows:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 3,6 Ghz.
GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 TI Gaming OC 6GB.
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16 GB 3000Mhz.
Monitor: ASUS VG245H 75hz.

Hey!

So in the PC discord, someone found out that sometimes it's best to clear TCP Shader files in the Game's app data folder. It actually helped my performance massively one day and it might help you.

If anyone has been having worse performance (fps wise) during the new patch, try navigating to:
C:\Users\usernamehere\AppData\Local\Gears5

Delete all tcpsocache files in that, then relaunch the game to let them rebuild

same here, had 100-120 fps on everything ultra. Didn't play since may, now i get 60-90 fps for some reason

Try dropping your settings a little bit. I dropped mine to just all ultra and getting over 120 sometimes over 200 fps

tried it, didn't seem to help much. Will tinker more, but still everything worked perfectly before
