SJW/feminism in games

I wont buy gears 5 with female leads sorry. Its just not the same.
( I like Tomb Raider BTW.) As long as the creators of any game have the intention of a good story the sex of the main character does not matter. My point is I do not like it when games have been politically influenced by today's culture.

I agree about booty for days. I have only played through Gears of War on the 360. Now I have played Tomb Raider which obviously has a female lead but it is not a feminism thing. Make a good game and a female lead fine.

If you have to look at females butt in a VIDEO GAME the whole time to prove yourself that you are straight then somethings definitely wrong with you. Besides when straight men play a game mostly they choose male characters to represent themselves. It just kills immersion for us to play female while being males.

Altough I don't think OP has a good way of saying it. I agree. SJW Feminism doesn't belong in video games. I love playing female characters, in MMOs I'm the guy playing with the girls but this Feminism narrative is completely different I think because female characters are portrayed as perfect. They're always strong, brave, need no man, make the other men look like ♥♥♥♥, everyone loves them etc. etc. it's really boring and stupid.

That's not including all the feminism undertones in the story and insulting guys or making them look weak just to make the female character look strong. This is an ideology based on Hate and Power not equality.

I have no problem with female characters if they're on the same playing field as the male but I have no patience for Mary sues or feminism. I just want to have fun in a game without the politics. So I won't support any game like this wokeness.

well complaining that about women in game is just silly. there is very little focus on kate as a whole so if kates role in the game bothers you then you have some serious issues. if you want a 4 man boy band like the classic gow but wont play having ONE women on your team then your seriously a flamer.

It is not that it is a female lead and an ugly one at that, seriously compare Kate to Anya or Cole's sister from Gears 3. It is that the story is pretty bad and pretentious, gonna get to that one in a bit.

Gears of War 4 opens with a glimpse to the Pendulum Wars, E-Day and the Battle for Anvil's Gate only to drop on us with Scooby Doo and the Gang. Afterwards we get a cheesy horror story but the gameplay was very much alright.

Gears of War 5 characters are so unlikeable, almost as bad as Star Wars sequel characters. Making Marcus life all the more miserable with these new entries is frankly REEE-to-the-Tarded, it is no good, we all want a good ending for our man Marcus, even the suggestion that the developers are going to kill JD is stupid, real damn stupid, we all picked the other dude, I hope coallition does not go full Naughty Dog and kill JD in the canon, they can eat dirt and die if they go in that direction.

Halo is on life support so it would be wise from Xbox Studios to stop pissing on their fanbase and tell a straight story, no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like picking who lives or who dies, just good vs evil and a horde mode that encourages team work like in Gears of War 4.

I do not care for Kate, much like Avatar Korra, it is not that it is a female character, it is a female character under the influence of bad writing. Kate is an okay character much like Korra but the writing The Coallition cannot do drama and they should stop.
