Cant play coop online campaign

regardless of whoever is hosting, whether me or my friend try to join eachothers campaign it loads and then says "you have been timed out" and the difficulty gets set to intermediate afterwards with no way to change it in game, even though we are both on insane

Co-op and joining on friends is very buggy in general so it's probably best to avoid it for a while.

this happens quite often recently, its not your guys fault. or when you load in with your friend, the game will time out.

The Cure - you must Reload your game lol
im pretty serious it will temporarily fix it, however if you happened to join another game for the time being it will cause the Time out or the Longest Load screen all over again

Restarting gears is one but both of you also need to have an open NAT connection.
