Why do people leave horde in the middle?

Most people stay till level 20-25 and then leave. Reached level 45 alone but by then its gets nuisance.

They get bored, have to go do stuff irl, etc. Going to horde 50 each time can get boring for most or they just don't have the time for it.

Some people just have challenges to do up to a certain level, or grind a certain amount of enemies or bosses etc.

Some don't like the setup or team comp and realise it isn't getting better.

Some just get bored tbh, does drag on a bit.

Also, Horde isn't super well designed. Also, I don't think this Horde mode adds any real value to the game. It's very boring.

Play horde in custom mode - this way people may leave and re-join any moment.

aye worst horde for co-op I've experienced, in Gears 2 and 3 people used to stay for the whole hog, didn't play much of Judgment because I thought it sucked and have not played 4 so can't comment on those

They just need to revamp the whole horde thing in several ways. Getting rid of that score screen at the end of each wave would be a start.

pretty much, it'll be much better if we can move around while a smaller score board hud shows at the left of the screen whilst having the countdown of wave preparation. This'll probably lessen the wave 1-50 duration from 2hr 30 mins to 2hrs.

Because no one likes to see the damn scoreboard every time. Just do it, like in Warframe, and ask every 5 waves. for the sake of gameflow.

Like others have stated, Horde mode has far too much downtime with the scoreboard, etc. I really like the idea of Horde mode, but playing it quickly reminds me that I also value my time and I end up getting extremely bored and quit.

^ after 30-40 rounds im leave cuz id rather be doing nothing then playing horde
