Might just be me but i think they have different rates of fire, not sure about the damage though.
The GL was doing less damage in the campaign than the regular but felt like it had a higher fire rate. The GL would be OP if it did more damage because it has a literal AOE aerial grenade launcher attachment that can be used indoors.
The retro does better headshot damage at close range which is what its used for.
And the chainsaw lancer is the best all around weapon you can use.
The chainsaw Lancer is the default one.
The GL lancer does less damage but has faster fire rate.
The Retro Lancer does more damage but has slower fire rate.
It's probably the same here aswell ...
Lancer is the good old work horse avg dmg to close to med range
Hamerburst is your 3-6 round burst ranged rifle and crit is high med to long range
Enforcer is ♥♥♥♥ dont use tap fire if must
RETRO IS GREAT WEAPON LEARN TO SINGLE SHOT AND U CAN HIT LONG RANGE TO. HIGH DMG PER SHOT AND BLADE NEVER RUNS OUT
GNASHER FOR REJECTS
TRI SHOT AND LOCKERS IS KEY FOR HORDE BUT TRI SHOT IS OP
