NO SOUND IN GEARS 5

So I just got the game recently and when I enter the game I hear no sound at all, all though everything is normal, I can still hear other games. Any solution? :(. I'm using Corsair Void Pro

Like I don't want to refund the game but this is really annoying tbh, already tried some solutions but it won't work

Thanks for the help but I'm currently not using a controller, I tried to check the mixer while in the game but hear nothing

There was a post somewhere explaining you need to alter your sound rate through windows to 48000Hz

Try changing your audio settings to stereo; this worked for me. My settings were set to 5.1, and in all cases (except this game), this was the best setting. When I found that the audio in this game was very muted (with ingame settings not helping), I changed my audio controller settings to stereo, and that fixed the problem for me.

keep playing till it does a loading to another level and its back. just ignore it. it goes away the same way it went away. Single player right?

OMFG THANK YOU SO MUCH, this actually worked!!! Ori and the Will of the Wisps just came out today and it has the SAME EFFING problem that Gears 5 does with audio not working properly through a controller or the Xbox wireless adapter, and this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 3rd party software saved the day. Nothing else I tried worked, so THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Believe me or not but your 2019 year post saved my day in 2024! I've just bought Razer Kaira Pro headset and got weird behavior in Gears 5 on my PC using the headset via Xbox wireless dongle. The sound works ok and then it stops at all for about 2-5 secs and then sound works again. Any manipulations in windows sound setting gave me nothing. But installing the app by your link just fixed the problem at all! Thank you!
