Do Saves from Xbox ultimate transfer
I started playing on Xbox Game pass (on PC) but decided not to renew the game pass.

If I buy the game outright in steam, will I be able to continue my save file ?

Same here. I'm playing it on PC Game Pass now. If I decide to get the game on Steam later will my saves transfer over?

Gears 5 requires an Xbox Live profile to play (a free account is sufficient), and as a result, your progress is carried over between versions of the game."
