Broken, No content, Slow support, Useless patches, incompetent developers, heavy microtransactions, nothing like Gears of War, Cringy plot hole cliff hanger campaign and bad dialogue, Broken Audio on PC, Stutters, Freezes, Crashes, Broken ranked, Casualized gameplay
Greedy devs, 2 New maps only every 3 months, Terrible Matchmaking(already 2 patches couldnt fix it), Small roster, No original Gears characters, boring Horde mode, Grindy challenges, repetitive escape mode, Dying competitive scene, dead on twitch/youtube, dead playerbase.

that's what people who defend the game blindly do. they will take one example of a negative thing we say and target it. 'U DONT HAVE TO USE THE MICROTRANSACTION STORE' or 'STEAM COUNT DOESNT MEAN ANYTHING' and it's like okay yeah, well how about the literal other hundreds of objective points and bugs we listed? one of the reasons we bring up the MTX store is because its the only thing that works properly and is regularly updated, while some people literally still cant play the game for example

Would I convince you more if i had 2 hours you slob? 20th of nov i launched the game because i launch it after every patch and update to see if anything has improved or changed and every time im disappointed, Just like how I'm disappointed that you thought that was a valid point.

It is a valid argument, there is a difference between having experience and obviously havjng enjoyed something you call broken. Normal people who dislike something and find it broken wont spend 250hours on it.

I have many hours as well. Yet I barely play it anymore. I still get on sometimes, just to start a game, wait ten+ minutes to que, then I'll leave. Or I'll find a match, realize once again how bull this game is, then get off after one. When it first released, I was hyped. I wanted to play it so bad I mean an actual Steam port for Gears? I was ready af. I wanted this game to be great, as gears 4, not bad but nothing much I would hoped they improved. I was going to do the rediculous and tedious grind to get the skins that were already in the campaign(which was a chore to complete imo). But everyday my excitement would dwindle. I mean I couldnt even log in for the first week it was so broken. And I still get the same bug I actually had to "fix" it myself by changing the date and time settings on my computer. nice. If I change it again, the bug will appear. Check the "ongoing service stability" forum in here. You will see how many bugs are still apparant. Okay, I get a game has bugs, but my god was there bugs. This many on top of their already broken and bad mechanics is just a no go. To top it all off, someone made a post on twitter about people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and complaining about the bugs and problems and "just shut up and play" kind of message and the devs liked it. That was just a kick to the balls, like bruh half of us cant even play lol.

I can go on but it's beating a dead horse at this point. It's not blind hate. I love gears. It has been a cherished series ever since childhood. But to see what it has become, the devs should be ashamed. I cannot cover every single problem Gears 5 has, I don't think Steam would allow that many characters. Just watch some youtube videos. And if you still want to support this scam of a company, go right ahead nobody is stopping you. Gears 5 is a disgrace to the name Gears.
