Well, yeah you have the potential to aim more accurate than Controller players. But, Gears is usually gnasher fights up close with wall bouncing.
But that being said, Gears 5 has a large play on a rifle meta
Any thoughts ?
Alot of the pro players didn't usually want to scrim with us on Gears 4 due to the "potential" of having a big advantage of M+KB on Gears 4. But when I played the tech test, in Escalation 2.0, which has no aim assist on Console, there was a bigger advantage due to the slower movement. So I think the competitive side would be more controller based, unless the PC version does well
Even with the aim assist you won't stand a chance against keyboard and mouse in MP.
Im better with a controller than m&k on Gears, any other shooter and its the opposite. I found it frustrating that they didnt allow crossplay in ranked on gears 4 because m&k have to much of an advantage? that just isnt true, me with a pad poops on me with a m&k.
M+K has way better configuration options so you can tune it to how you like. Plus now you can separate dodge roll, roadie run, and take cover - so that's an even bigger benefit for PC.
(I recommend mouse wheel down for taking cover / wall bouncing) Same thing you'd use to jump in any FPS game
Im guessing it has something to do with hits seeming to not register
Think it's more trying to change the pace of the game. Gears 1 and 2 had quite slower paces, while 3 and 4 was a bit faster.
