At PS3 ERA, triple A games were 50€ on PC. (60€ on consoles)
At PS4 ERA (current ERA) ,triple A games jumped to 60€ on PC. (70€ on consoles... yes we actually pay 70€ for console games for the past many years)
As we approach PS5 ERA, I would imagine they want to bump this number up to 70€ on PC (and probably 80€ on consoles)
In a way it makes sense.
The Development cost of the "Game of the Year" in 2013 (Bioshock Infinate) , isn't the same as the Development cost for Game of the Year" in 2018 (God of War / Red Dead),
But although it could make sense, I know it's hard to swallow.
Also $1 ten years ago isn't even the same value as $1 today
not with me
I wait for a sale and then i have it on all 3 possible locations :D for the price what you all pay here for 1.
Its absolutely bonkers whats goin on in gaming now.
As early access and remasters arent enough cancer already they reached a new high with all them launchers what no one likes, and now the absolute crazyness from microsoft to release some games through steam same as former PS3/4 exclusives now on time exclusive epic store.
And why are all games now the same price like on consoles?
Wasnt that the reason to buy a more expensive PC to get games cheaper in the long run and in better quality? Seems all of those reasons are gone now.
