What did you do to fix it?
Close the software?

Same issue. I don't use Logitech headphones, so none of those work arounds apply. I cleared out the install and am downloading again.

Same, No Audio, haven't found a fix. Audio device is straight from motherboard (VIA HD Audio(Win10)) drivers are up to date and nothing but speakers are plugged in.. Tried lowering hertz in settings and nothing..

Same here, no real problems concerning my audio when playing other games or media.

The Gears 5 team confirmed that audio issues can be caused by playing the game with 44.1 kHz sample rate.

You can resolve this issue by changing the sample rate to 48 kHz.

First, open the Sound Settings windows and open a new window by clicking the left button on the Sound Control Panel.
Once the new window is opened select the current audio device and left-click on it.
Next, open the Speaker Properties left clicking on the properties and left-click the Advanced tab.

I'm on 48kHz atm, still having the issue. This may not have resolved my problem but I encourage others to try the same. I play on 48 native so I didn't have to change anything. I also tried on others to no avail.

I had the same problem with Turtle Beach Elite Pro. I ended up just downloading the desktop app for it and set it to "PC Mode" then finally worked. Before that though, the sound kept breaking up in and out.

Same issue here, no audio at all for Gears 5 while audio works fine for every other game and system-wide for youtube, etc. I tried both 44.1khz and 48khz in sound settings and neither fixed it.

Plugging my headset into my onboard audio works, however it's such a downgrade in sound quality from my Astro Mixamp that I wouldn't want to play it this way. I've never had this issue before with my Mixamp, so hopefully it gets fixed soon.
