Official Steam Unlock Time: Monday Sept 9, 9pm ET

The official release date of Gears 5 is Tuesday, September 10th.

The game will be unlocked today, Monday, September 9th, at 9pm ET / 6pm PT globally.

so if its 6pm PT converted to my timezone would be 11am today Tuesday as its 9am right now so 2 more hours and its out?

for people who keep going on about the timezone ♥♥♥♥, its a standard world wide release date, hell people who have preorderd physical copys will get them now but people who have preorderd online are getting stiched up, they need top specify wheather or not time zones will be affecting the release or not, and beleive it or not they have been saying pritty much that if its midnight in your country its unlocked for you, well thats a load of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, im sorry but if a game is marketed for a date then it should come out at 12am that day in your country, but because every man and there dog got all upset because some countrys got there copy before i did wahh well tough ♥♥♥♥, if it was not suposed to be out well then they need to clearly specify that before realese so people can actually prepare for the game to come out and there is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nothing.

It is 7:10 PM in Eastern Time, comes out at 9:00 PM.

We're in daylight saving so in UK it's GMT+1 = BST. It will be released in UK at 2am so 1hrs 48 mins from now.
