P.S. Gears of War 3 was also better than those two, simply for having a Double Barrel Shotgun and it never came back in 4 or 5. Anyways, uh, yeah, keep trading away everything for pretty graphics because graphics make a game, right? Port the first 3 games to steam, i will buy those the moment i can, not those two last ones.

Gears of War 3 is the best imo followed by Gears of War 1 and then Judgement. GoW2 felt too slow and sluggish to me and I have not played GoW4.
I would love to get GoW3 on Steam. Would play the poop out of it. Truelly the best one in the series. Amazing game.

Ive never played any GoW game but i can tell you right now, that Judgement is the worst one so that makes it clear youre another troll, i think from what ive seen 3 is good but im not sure how good, think it was the best in terms of content atleast maybe but 1 and 2 are not easily put down, clearly. This video shows that over a decade old game and its sequel, are better made than games today, which i mean, is ussualy the case for any and all games but it has to be called out regardless, and for it to happen to Gears, when it comes to destruction and gore, to be dialed back so bad? Yeah, thats a inferior game to the 1st two. You know, the 1 shot instant glass destruction reminds me of CSGO windows, used to be shot trough multiple pieces but recently was made the same way windows work in 5, and just like CSGO, less destruction, less gore, less pyshics, less weight, less impact.... dumbed down games because of incompetence or pandering for a newer audience. I want the first three games now, not the last two, not anymore.

I've played, and finished, every single gears of war game to date. A few of them on Insane difficulty.

Sure, there was things about gears of war that made it great. There was things about 2 and 3 that made them great. And sure, judgement and 4 weren't as good.

But who gives, a single ♥♥♥♥? 'omg it's not as good as older games' then just don't play the newer ones. Go play the older ones. Let people enjoy the fact there is at least another game in a series they've enjoyed for so long.

No because i never owned any console apart from Sega Genesis, PSP and Gameboy Color, im poor, ya know? Using a cheap stock computer, lol. I dont have to play the games, i just have to look at footage, ive done that in the past for the old games, i did some of 5 and i just watched the comparison, and now i learned something without playing, isnt media great?

Also, let's keep in mind that Artuurs hasn't evenn played Gears 5 himself. Just giving a negative view of the game because someone else on youtube gave a negative view of the game.

This is just as bad as others not playing the game because of "SJW female lead character" or "Rainbow pride flags so it's a trash game"

After 26 hours into the campaign alone. I personally, had a lot of fun. Loving Horde so far. I will admit the game's Multiplayer feels a little unfinished.]

Edit: Unsure why the game says I've only played for 20 hours. I've certainly played more.

Why and how would people enjoy a vibrant more child friendly version with a tumblr ♥♥♥♥♥ protagonist and no details in gameplay, of a gruesome bleak gorey dude bro shooter with great details? Werent as good? Yeah, thats putting it lightly, the former was a disaster and the latter was nothing special. People who like games give a ♥♥♥♥, we dont like seeing games sanitized and going backwards in quality. I wont play the newer ones, dont worry. i would play the older ones but you see....their not on steam, and if they were, they would probably cost money... the game is a cashgrab, the coalition was formed by microsoft to keep the IP going after Epic Games went creatively bankrupt on the series, thus selling it cause it was done, it was finished but microsoft saw value and needed exclusives then as they do now, its just a game for a sequel sake.

Okay so... 2 things...

1. Gears of war 1 and 2 released over 10 years ago. back on the Xbox 360. They had mostly low quality graphics and had some troubles loading textures. Most of the color was unsaturated, and dark to give it a moody effect.

2. Gears 5 was released THIS YEAR onto MORE POWERFUL CONSOLES and PC. Textures are sharper, more detailed, built for 4k. Also keep in mind PEOPLE CAN CHANGE THEIR OWN SETTINGS. To MAKE the game look more vibrant and 'kid friendly' OR change them till they look more like the old games.

You're comparing a 13 and what, 10 year old game? To a game made in 2019 and whining it doesn't look the same.

Someone else didnt give a negative view genius, that someone else compared side by side two games split apart by a decade, one shows old'ish graphics but a TON of details, while the newer one is too bright and too sanitized, read the description to get a better idea at what is being compared. You also havent played Gears 5 dude, but you know what? We dont need to, to see how bad the game looks like when compared to previous games, like, actual ingame gameplay is no different from recorded gameplay, got it? You might aswell stop watching youtube all toghether if you think all is fake and exagurated there. Crowbcat has informed alot of people about the state of the game, he has done a service, he showed footage, he didnt give a negative view, what the hell are you talking about. Its not as bad, get it straight. Ofcouse you had alot of fun, you have no idea about the previous 5 games and youre simply a easily impressed, satisfied child, clearly without any good game expieriences..... youre so in denial that you go like, oh look the new game is less detailed, less immersive, less gorey, less impactfull, less destructive, less interactable, but hey the graphics are good atleast and graphics are all that matter.
