Failed to sign in to an xbox live profile

Any idea how to get around that? Won't let me play the game due to this error:
ERROR
An error has occurred. Please try again later.
Failed to sign in to an xbox live profile.

Happens straight after launching the game :(

Found the fix guys.

You need to go into Date and Time settings in Windows. Switch on "set time automatically" then click "Sync now". Fixes it :)

Im having the problem since yesterday, an already tried your solution to no luck, also uninstall and reinstall, veryfing integrity files, sing in to xbox app and run the game, but still shows the error.

This may sound stupid, but try clicking c before you hit enter. It won't let me log in if I've hit enter already, but if you go in and hit c, it will open the window to log in.

pressed c but no log in menu, the screen actually freezes for like 2 sec. goes back to the background animation but no window, then hit enter and still error to sing in.

this is how you fix it go to www.xbox.com go to your account and go more in create a xbox profile then unlock your account

I was so close to buying this game but it looks like the road you guys are describing is the one I've been down way to many times. For clarity, Is this something you have to do to play the Steam version ?

For Steam/Any version, apparently all you need to do is sign in once and from there the game will be fine, but I don't have the option to & tried every fix. The weird thing is when I first launched the game I had the option, but forgot my password so exited and came back, from there I've had this issue since

Wow man that sucks. It's precisely the kind of thing I don't want to deal with. Not even if they pay me to play the game.

Can you play offline or do you need to remain logged into the xboxwindows thing at all times?

Sign in where? I've had the same problem for a few days, and none of the fixes have worked.

Sign in where? I've had the same problem for a few days, and none of the fixes have worked.

the first time you run the game if you press enter, a window will show up and ask you to log in to microsoft account like the one that shows on the console companion or the xbox app, after that,the next time you run the game you just hit enter and you will log in to the main menu without having to put your credentials. And you can play offline, but looks like your will not get rewards or collectables while doing so.

Almost the same same happend to me, but i was playing a match but got disconected (this was on Tuesday, been playing since last Friday), after that i could still play offline but stupid me tried to chage profile to test the campaing, but the decided to wait, without log in to my profile, and closed the game, after 30 min. tried to enter, again but the error started.


In the meantime, today's patch didn't fix the error. :(

yes, It seems Microsoft is forcing me to do something here, but the game never informed me, nor did the store page that I would have to give a Blood sacrifice to Microsoft in order to play this game.

I have absolutely no Idea what to do as the game just loads to a page that says play game C change profile, and exit to DESK Top which is the one thing that works.

Thank goodness it was a gift from someone Else, so at least I did not waste my money on this JUNK!.

But they sure wasted there's.

Right now this is and absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rip Off, a scam, a cheat, a filthy sleazy way to cheat people out of there money and bandwidth and time.
