WORK ONGOING: Gears 5 Service Stability
5:45pm PT
We have been gathering reports from some players missing collectibles and chapter progression, including related achievement progress.

We have a plan to target resolving this and work is underway. We'll keep you apprised of any updates.

Update: 12:45pm PT
Services remains stable, though we continue to address disconnects for Campaign and Horde.

The Progression catch-up roll-out is mostly complete. Tour and Character Skills are most affected by this. We'll post when it's finished.

The progression and stats issue is now resolved. Over the next few hours, your Tour of Duty, XP, rank, character levels, and end of match flow should slowly return to their correct state.

We will update when this backlog has been completed.

We have fixed an issue causing infinite saving checkpoints.

We no longer are seeing this problem; however, if you are experiencing this, we want to hear from you. We're still working on Progression. At this time, Progression is saved but very delayed.

Open start Menu Then search for "XBOX Console Companion" -> click the gear icon at the bottom left -> click Network and wait couple of seconds until it checks the NAT type

You're not the only one. Stuck at the exact same place. Can't be bothered to restart the whole chapter again so I haven't played it since. Shocking this hasn't been patched yet.

So frustrated! I have not been able to play for days due to the game not loading from the title screen. Thought I could fix the problem by ditching NVIDIA GEFORCE Experience and then uninstalling/reinstalling the game, but still it does not work. It ran fine at first (Core i7, RTX 2070 laptop), but now it is just an unenticing, empty title.

Well, you didn't even take me out to dinner....No movie...No flowers. Just bought 4 copies of Gears 5 today. Hoping for a joyful weekend with my family, but not one of us can login. "The account or password is incorrect". Now....I may never walk right again.

You're not the only one. Stuck at the exact same place. Can't be bothered to restart the whole chapter again so I haven't played it since. Shocking this hasn't been patched yet.

I finally got to sign in. I had to run steam and the game as administrator. Also had to go to date and time settings and change it to automatic sync.

dude fix the audio in this game. wife has zero audio. yesterday was fine and today nothing. Nothing has been done to the pc. We can hear each other in our chat.

I'm missing chapter scenes or it skipped to a chapter. Before the chapter starts it tells the act and chapter and after it starts, the chapter jumps before the collectibles etc. get discovered. LOL it's not working right or something too!

Well servers are broken again, i keep getting the same error code instead of XP over and over, you figured after the 5th title in the franchise you guys would have your act together by now, wtf.
