Crash to desktop everytime

Got it on the windows store and it keeps crashing. It'll do the anti cheat load, then the splash screen followed by a black screen and the back to desktop with no error message.

i7-8600k
2080ti
windows 10
all drivers up to date and system up to date.

just checked same exact issue show dozen error 51 hard disk 6 which doesnt exist i only have 4 drivers 1 ssd 1 nvme and 2 regular hd drives odd

I'd say maybe it's looking at one of those hidden backup restore drive partitions that come with new PC's but I know mine doesnt have one (replaced the system drive myself for a better SSD).

Been messing with this for too long. It looks like when Gears 5 is installed, it creates an 'Xvd' disk that it uses for the game somehow. You can only see this disk under Device Manager -> Disk Drives. I tried uninstalling this and Gears wouldn't launch. Re-installed Gears and it put that drive back there. This is what I'm assuming it has issues with. That drive shouldn't even have a paging operation.

On my system I only have 5 physical disks. 0,1,2,3,4. Disk manager doesn't show a disk 5. If I plug in some usb drives, it skips 5 and creates a disk 6,7,8 etc.

I tried unplugging all but the main C: drive. Still no dice. It just gets the same error but with the next higher disk number. So in this case Disk 1.

What motherboards do you all use? Any case lighting going on? I read on gigabyte and Asus they had luck with it running if you disable them.

weird, I also have that in my device manager but my game has been working fine.

I didn't install any of the Gigabyte utilities. I also tried uninstalling the Intel Disk Management whatever. Pretty bare bones right now. No AV, no backups.
