Matriarch boss fight visual bug - GAME BREAKING

I've just come into a game-breaking bug in the Matriarch boss fight. Basically, it turns the Matriarch invisible. Since I was having trouble avoiding getting run over, I've been dying. Well, upon loading the checkpoint the boss is invisible. The model is gone. It throws Niles around but is just gone. This happens upon dying or manually reloading the checkpoint, and even after restarting the game. Changing graphics settings doesn't change anything either. As it turns out, it's very difficult to win a boss fight when you can't see the boss.

If anybody has any suggestions for fixing this that would be great.

R9 390 on 19.9.2 drivers
