Peep hole bugged?

In Chapter 2, I just thoroughly explored the girls apartment, and while I was about to exit I saw the icon to look through the peep hole on the door. It's now stuck looking out the hole, and I can't walk away from the door. I was expecting to see something, but it's just an empty stairwell.

I had to alt-tab kill the process.

how do you even get to do that? i just cleared ericas apartment and never saw that you could peep through the door peephole...

Gotta say, kinda crazy ya'll said you would fix this in 2021 and it's now two years later and it's still not fixed.

Love the game though, nice job on it otherwise.
