Controller is not recognized

Hi, I am using my Xbox wireless controller for other games but for this one it just is not being recognized. I made sure it is paired before starting the game but it will not react to any controller inputs. Does anyone know how this could be fixed?

Same here, but I played the entire first chapter with an xbox controller, it stopped working when I first loaded the second chapter.

Fixed it !
Had the same issue, it worked at first but the next day was not working anymore.

What worked for me was opening steam overlay (Shift+Tab) going into "Controller Settings" and "Enable Steam Input".
