Does someone knows a trick to solve the cylinder puzzle...

in episode 2 ? Maybe a savegame file just after that solving instead ! I tried it out more than one hour and i have no idea. Please only serious help and notes and not always these caveman comments with their verbal club or these "super clever" guys, who want to tell me that google exists. I know that i have internet access. Many thanks in advance........*well, what's coming back now*.

You have to check which ring can't be moved by any other ring. You write down this ring as number 1. Then you look at all rings that are left and again look for the ring that can't be moved by any other ring (Except of course the ring you excluded). You continue to do so and get the order in which you have to move the rings.

After getting the order you need to align the ends of the green lines together starting by the left ring. This may take a few repositions of the rings.

Thank you very much for trying to explain, but unfortunately i still do not understand it. The first ring rotates all the other rings with it, the second ring also rotates the third ring with it, the fourth ring now moves the third ring and only the third ring moves alone. And now? Strangely enough, i had managed this puzzle once at my first playing through all episodes after several attempts in several days, i only miss the patience this time and get a headache. I give it up, I'm too old for this puzzle. A pity, because i spend 8 € for each episode. Thanks again. Best wishes.

You missed the last ring on the right, I also overlooked that the first time I tried the puzzle. It is not stationary but can also be rotated.

As I overlooked that I thought that I could not connect all lines in a way it makes sense but after rotating the ring first I managed to solve it.

Also if you just want to skip the puzzle here is the solution from a walkthrough:

1. Move the sixth piece down two times
2. Move the second piece up one time
3. Move the third piece up one time
4. Move the fifth piece down one time
5. Move the fourth piece down one time
Up and down refers to wether you use left or right click on the piece (I forgot which key does what)
