Hate the controls

I am really loving this game but the controls are awful. I am using keyboard and mouse and am used to using the mouse at the same time as the WSAD but you can't do that in this game. I wish they would change that. I always seem to be moving in circles or in the wrong direction. It is driving me crazy!!!

The PC control sucks absolutely. It was a reason for a refund for me. I cant understand how the devs can make so an unbelievable bad control for this game. I think this will have deterred a lot of players from buying it and hopefully the developers will learn from it.

Yes, the same problem is at Fear of the dark unknown. I don't understand this strange character control. And i never got an answer to my question regarding this "problem". Unplayable for left-hand disabled players, like me, or right-hand gamers, too. I bought myself a keyboard where i can set the W A S D keys on the Arrow-keys ( € 10 on Amazon - DBPower ).

This is a fixed angle horror game. You should be using a controller. I recommend DS4 for the old RE/SH feeling.

Keyboard and mouse controls works great in this game!. In fact, they are so perfectly been implemented, that I don't mind you cannot play in classic "Tank Control" (in other games of this genre I hate that you cannot play in Tank Control). The only issue is that you cannot redefine keys, so I cannot set Right Alt (instead of Right Shift) for running.

The main problem is for people who can only use her right hand, like me, to reach the WASD-keys. To add a rebinding function for this issue wouldn't have been a great effort to the development. But suggestions for improvement or asking for help and getting upset in the end don't help here, in the Steam discussions groups the stupidity reigns. As everywhere in the world.

PC controls should be tank controls, the movement is okay for controllers but m&k should have tank controls -_-

the worst thing about this game is the death mechanic where you gotta control your breathing/quick time crap. its horrible. other than that its good.

Ugh, thanks for the thread, OP, i almost bought this. So, you have to play with a controller because KB/Mouse is awful and there's no key rebinding also? vaya tela.

Oh, sorry, i now see some "nice" comments, this game HAS to be played with a controller, only idiots play with KB/Mouse. A pity then, i don't play with controllers :(

I will not buy a controller, something I have never used, will never use, for a $20 game. "Best" played with a controller does not mean "can only be reasonably played with a controller". That is ridiculous. I'll be adding to the line of refunds, and wish I had known that before I bought it.

There are many games which are much better on controller than on keyboard and mouse.

I bought one years ago and another one this year .. it is worth it.

That's not a excuse for not having key rebinds to ease the poor controls. It's the least they could do, even if it's designed for a controller and plays better with one.

Since old games on Spectrum, Amiga or the 1st PC games, redefinable keys were a very common option. Why? Because not all like cheese. Good enough?
