Any hints on where I can find something to get the fire going in the living room? I already found some wood and some matches, Still something's missing.

You need the solvant found in the servant's quarters (you can only access that zone after having found Masha's key on the second floor and going through the garage all the way to the secondary door of the house.

Note that you don't need to light the fireplace until the very end of the first episode.

You are very welcome, stranger. Those locations aren't very obvious, really, given that when you first open the garage door with the remote you can't have the key needed to go any further.
