Possible Alternate Ending DLC in the Future?
Is there any chance that an alternate ending being added sometime in the future. I did like the ending as it fitted in with the game's Lovecraftian theme with it being ambiguous and not a happy ending.

That being said, after everything I witnessed these characters go through, there was a part of me that was hoping for a better outcome for Daniel. I would love the idea of an alternate "bitter-sweet" ending. Say Daniel leaves the box in the "somewhere" and escapes the LeGrant mansion, but he is never "fully" free from the curse. With all the choices we can make throughout the five episodes, it would be interesting to see what decisions lead to which ending.

This is just food for thought. A big shout-out to the people of Raiser Games for making such a great horror game that has captured my attention these past several months.

I feel like finding all of the Episode 5 drawings will give you a alt, good ending. Though I'm not sure. I also feel that Raiser Games might make a patch adding new stuff like they did with Episode 4. Well, fingers crossed anyways.

I posted my thoughts on the idea of an alternate ending in a previous topic and I'll add it again here:

I was slightly disappointed with the nightmares in the finale of "There" and that there wasn't an alternate option to intentionally fail them, since the "correct" objective is to fulfill the Presence's desire (prevent the patients from escaping, kill Ariadne as a baby, retell the story of Husher's family being killed/trapped by the Presence etc.).

What if, say for example, when playing as Husher and being asked "What did Catherine and Saul do next, you selected "escape" and that actually changed the events of the past and kept them alive? Or as Argos you refused to kill Ariadne and walked off away from the crying? Or as Berenice you destroyed the machine?

Perhaps doing this would trap Daniel in "There" but seal away the Presence forever since the door would stay closed? This would be an interesting, alternate ending with a heroic sacrifice and IMO would provide a more satisfying alternate conclusion.

This would feel a bit like the protagonist of 1408 burning the room, the old "I'm taking you with me" trope, providing much needed catharsis.

The devs said, if my memory doesn't fail, that they would reintroduce Erika Farber in chapter 5, and I didn't see her anyway. Is a possibility that the hipotetical DLC Erika is related, IMO

Maybe there's an alt ending if you intentionally fail the nightmares in the final?

she's being added in a few weeks in the director's cut, which should just be an update.

There are no alternate endings, said from the devs themselves.
