ep. 1 safe and fusebox puzzles

i'm stuck with these puzzles.

with the safe, I'm "sure" i'm giving the correct numbers.

- number of the house. It's in the front of the house, left of the door, right?
- age of saul. i'ts in the scary drawing, right?
- decade and year of the first painting in the second floor. so, the painting is from 1634, right?

the safe still doesn't open. what am i missing? just give me a hint. don't give me the answer please.

then with with fusebox,

for what i see, the cables go from each of the boxes where you place the fuses, to the ummm... other three fuses in the left.

and each fuse socket in the right takes the curent to one or more of the ummm... other fuses in the left. so you got to place the fuses in a way that add to 25, 50 and 30 when adding all the inputs from the right to each fuse in the left.

but apart from the problem of arranging them in the correct order it seems to me like it can't be done: the middle fuse is marked with 50, but only two sockets feed it with energy. so the highest number you can get with only two fuses is 25A + 20A = 45A. So you can't even get to 50.

Again, can someone give me a tip on what am I missing?

You do have one part of the safe combination wrong. I'm not sure how much help you want here, so I've put in spoiler which one is wrong.

By the way, I wouldn't worry about the safe puzzle yet.

Your problem with the fuse is that you're assuming that middle = middle. But the wires go in a random order from the left box to the right box. You don't know which box is which amperage. I made that same mistake for most of my time solving that puzzle, too.
