Disadvantage and advantage
So, I noticed this when I was playing but the rules on this aren't being applied right.

pg.173 of the players handbook

"If multiple situations affect a roll and each one grants advantage or imposes disadvantage on it, you don't roll more than one additional d20. If two favorable situations grant advantage, for example, you still roll only one additional d20."

It continues on with...

"If circumstances cause a roll to have both advantage and disadvantage, you are considered to have neither of them, and you roll one d20. This is true even if multiple circumstances impose disadvantage and only one grants advantage or vice versa. In such a situation, you have neither advantage nor disadvantage."

In short, you can have 14 instances of disadvantage, and 1 of advantage, and you would still roll as normal. They still cancel each other out as though there was 1vs1.

Basically we have the first part and not the second.

iirc Tactical Adventures isn't applying every single rule of D&D 5e to Solasta but idk which rules they're left out, modified or added to the game

You might want to read the stickied post titled "Ruleset differences with D&D 5e" in the General Forum.

Ok I read it, and they clearly have no Idea why this was actually done.

On Tabletop, the rule is very clear and simple - not matter how many sources of advantages / disadvantages you have, they cancel out. This is notably great because it makes it easier on the players and the DM to avoid having to track how many advantages / disadvantages are involved, making every roll faster.

No, this was done because of balance. Half the reason I noticed this is it has lead to so many crits from the enemy that should of been prevented and vice versa. It prevents dog piling and focusing insta deaths. Some fights have just become a joke, and others are unbearable. Pack tactics as a great example.

I have watched so many deaths of characters happen from this and been forced to load because an NPC got double advantaged.

Imagine a cleric hits a creature with guided bolt, then that creature uses a dodge action to grant disadvantage. so the rogue just uses help action to get the paladin to smite slam....yeah that's why they made it.

It has to do with action economy and allowing an option or choice to ALWAYS make a difference. It has nothing to do with numbers and tracking. DM's could play 2nd edition...

For me, this is probably the most impactful variance from 5e rules in Solasta.
FYI - The Unfinished Business mod has an SRD section that includes an option to impose proper Advantage/Disadvantage rules.
