Quicken Spell as a bonus action

Current implementation of the Quicken metamagic for sorcerer requires one to use their action to cast a spell and modify it into a quicken. The problem with this is if I wanted to disengage from an enemy first to back up, I can't cast a spell I otherwise would be able to cast as a bonus action through the Quicken metamagic.

I do agree the current way is new players helpful so we can keep that but might I also suggest adding a quicken slot when a player select bonus action cast a spell?

The UI flow would be:
1. Bonus Action: Cast A Spell
2. Select Quicken (ideally first in list with cost icon)
3. Action Spell List appears that are quicken-able.
