Are you casting it in combat? I have never used it in combat so I could see there being a bug with it in combat but it has always given me the full minute outside of combat.
I was in the library I used Jump on my Paladin, outside of combat, he jumped, and moved quite far away from the party. It took abou 10 seconds and the buff disapeared. He could not jump back. Right now it looks like it is the distance from the caster that is the problem. I am not the only one having this problem
I am not saying that you haven't run into a bug - I am saying that I have never seen it happen and I have messed around with jump in all kinds of situations - including moving the jumping character away from the party. Without a reproducable scenario the dev's cannot do anything for you, the more specific instructions the better.
EDIT: Just as an FYI - I ran a test in the tower of magic starting at the entrance to the crown room. My mage cast jump on my fighter and then I ran him (and him alone, leaving the rest of the party in the crown room) back into the main library and all the way to the far end near the statue of the king. It took him a full minute to travel that distance and jump stayed up the whole time, dropping just at I got there. I am using a program called hourglass to time the spell duration, it is a countdown timer and I put 1 minute on it, switch to the game cast the spell, then switch back to the timer and start it. Then, back in the game I ran away from the party. The spell does not drop until the timer runs out even after getting a lot of distance between caster and target.
