breast plate of deflection does not correctly reduce pieceing damage at least on some enemies

when pilgrim attack my fighter who has a breast plate of deflection, using his second attaack bite which does 3d6+ 4 pieceing and inflict burn by acid. the pieceing damage was not reduced. and does the full amount.

ok i have tested on more monsters it seems breast plate of deflection damage reduction vs pieceing attack simply does not work.

the only situation i didn't test is ranged pieceing attack.
