Having a problem with no audio

I recently bought all the new DLC after having last played a long while back after the initial game release. I installed it all, and also installed a DLC called "unfinished business."

Everything was fine at first, I started the game, checked out the Unfinished Business options, enabled a few minor options and set out to play. I rolled up some custom characters and went to bed, with everything behaving normally. the next day I went to start up again and play and noticed there was no audio. No music, background sounds, interface sounds, etc. just nothing.

Has anyone seen anything like this and if so do you know a fix?

I've seen this problem reported a few times. I think it has something to do with the 44 version of UB. You might visit the Solasta discord where there is an Unfinished Business section and ask there. I'm not sure if the latest 45 release fixes it but I believe some had said they fixed it by installing version 43 and then changing the narrator voice set or turning it off. The bug is related to the custom voices option.

Go back and revisit your UB adjustments.

Or, Right-Click the Speaker Icon at bottom right and select: Open Volume Mixer. In there while Solasta is running, see if the volume is pulled down.
