You're wanting something the spell does not provide.
you tell us NOT to tell you HOW to use it,
and you go on a tirade to rival any 4 yr olds when told they cant have a cookie.
Then, you end with question. After having told us, not to tell you anything.
Thing is those are also concentration spells. Sure you can use it as a CC, but concentration is a precious resource so using two character's concentration to kill a single enemy seems pretty niche... and melee enemies are naturally going to have slightly higher Con saves. It really is a spell with marginal use in Solasta.
That said, there are a few areas where the game didn't seem to let me float higher than a foot off the ground, effectively killing that plan. I think it was on one of the roadside ambush maps.
In DnD the spell actualy lets you move, by pushing and pulling yourself against objects/walls/etc. or letting another character move the levitating character. Also it works a lot better against enemies. Unfortunaly this is not implemented in Solasta, so you have to deal with its current version.
