Ah well, Unfinished Business 2.0 will fix the problem eventually, I suppose.
What are those limitations?
Also I'm glad characters still look like the ugliest mfs alive. Solasta is up there with Outward for the ugliest faces I've seen lmao
The faces I saw in the reveal trailer didn't look all that bad. And i was definitely watching for them, pausing when necessary so I could see a face or two.
Devs would be really wise to work with those who made mods for the game.
edit: I did like how the entire party was present in a conversation as opposed to other games that would usually have a lead talker like BG3.
Unless TA gets a license from Wizards of the Coast, they are limited to the SRD races and classes from the DnD universe. Anything extra will need to be some custom ("legally distinct") content. That's why Solasta 1 only had the races and class options it did, and why it had so many custom subraces and subclasses.
Yea this is why I'm happy Larian escaped Wizards of the Coast after BG3 and all the limitation that go with that. Thank goodness for modding.
True - of course they can also try to make a seperate PF2 game. But initially, at least, it makes sence to stick with SRD ruleset.
