Unfinished business mod freeze on loading screen

The unfinished business mod causes my game to freeze on starting screen (works fine without it) the umm version is correct, any clues?

I'd suggest trying to download an old version of UB like .44 or .43 and seeing if that works. If so, you could then try to update within UB to the latest version.

Since it works without UB it probably isn't related to a corrupted/old character file or save.
