Voices not playing?

So, I finally got this game to start working, after taking a couple of days to get the stupid black screen instead of an opening video bug fixed, and now I have a new problem: None of the voices are playing. I have background music, ambient sound, and completely silent characters. Their mouths are moving, and nothing is coming out. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and does anyone know how to fix it? I'd rather not have to ask for a refund on this game, that would be quite disappointing.

Update: It seems voices are only a problem when directly facing the character speaking, which is a serious problem during cutscenes, and when talking to NPCs, since it means half the time I can't discernably hear what's being said. Reading subtitles is fine, but I'd like for it not to be because the sound is constantly fading in and out from a ridiculous issue.

Windows 7 64 bit, logitech G633 headset.

My characters are silent too. At the table when there is a cutscene they don't have a voice. Same with during character creation the 3 options are silent. My settings have the voice on so its definitely not that.

Same problem here. I can hear the voices during character creation, but after that, there are no voices anymore.
