Dragonborn Monk
I rolled a dragonborn monk and was left wondering, why my claws that are about size of arrowheads do not give any benefit to unarmed strikes?

I suppose it's trying to stay true to the 5th edition of D&D? Still would have been nice to see some innate benefit to having massive claws!

Alltough I have next to no idea, how this would/should be implemented.

Well unless your monk comes from a martial arts school that is dedicated to perfecting the ♥♥♥♥♥ slap, it makes total sense. Pretty hard to use your claws when punching something.

What if my monk is a pimp?

Unfinished Business has a race that has the same look as Dragonborn but I think is a bit larger + can deal more damage with punches.

Normal Dragon Born is kinda meh. Better then BG3's at least.

You've got to be kidding. Dragonborn monks are supposed to try and make a fist, turning their claws on themselves, rather than using them to attack!?

If you want to go all the way back to the 1st edition rules, there are some provisions for making new martial arts styles. Maybe in 3rd edition, too? Mostly, though, that kind of depth just isn't part of the game.

Well since the Monk classes specifically says they use punches and kicks, don't know what to yell you.
Anyway I was making a joke more than anything so you can go ahead and unbunch your panties.

go all the way back to 1st E, or 3rd...there were no dragonborn sooooo....that argument sort of shoots itself in the foot. Raking claw attacks, would bed more an assassin thing, Ninja style; than a Monk.
