Spider queen venom

The spider queen venom says it is worth 4500g and that it is an ingredient but I can't find anything to craft with it.

Your craft a rapier with it, if I am remembering right. It's called a Black Fang or something. Pretty good item and does necrotic damage. There might be other recipes with it

The Black Viper rapier does 2d6 bonus damage, but I forgot where the recipe is.

Where you get the crafting manual changed with the Palace of Ice patch on May 25 2023.
(Previously the shop that showed up in 'Possible Sorak Base/Manacalon Ruins' after you cleared it had the crafting manual. This is no longer the case.)

So where do you get the recipe now after the patch?

I haven't played through the original campaign since May 25th, so I don't know...
(My old save the shops didn't update (and if they added it in an already completed area it wouldn't show up), only got a new save past getting the crown to check early shops. It is not in the early shops.)

I believe I bought the manual from one of the orc merchants in the volcano.

Yes that is where I found the recipe for both the black viper and the dragonsword in the last play through of CoTM campaign.

Yup its on orc vendors now. If you're past that point you're out of luck.

One of the best 1h weapons in the main campain. The best finesse weapon.
