So I think there may be yet another giant-related bug in a Solasta game...
Am not sure, why I could get it done after 5 trials & error.....I started the map stealthy, before the movie trigger.
What worked was either using Marduk as first attacker using a nifty xbow bolt or using Helm of Comprehend Language on one of my characters before attacking or a combination of both.
Neither of my chars can speak Giant without using a spell/item....
(though, my Bard had the language thingie ring equipped)
Could be also the use of stealth as I usually keep Marduk behind.
[the name is godlike for anyone, who is listening to metal ^.^ I soooo laughed]
Probably not a Bug!
If you accidentally damage or damaged the Frost Giant they then become hostile.
The Frost giant entered to attack fire giants where I had cast spike growth to provide a barrier between the Fire giants and my party members.
The Frost giant took damage then on the next round they became hostile towards my party and started to attack them, leaving the Fire giants alone.
A reload of the save game later and I managed to keep the Frost giant as an ally.
