Gear carrying over to new adventures and campaigns?
Hi Dedicated Solasta Players,

I started playing some of the player made modules. I absolutely loved my first one. Started level 1 party and finished around level 5. But alas I finished it (too early) was very fun wish it lasted longer. Is there any way to have your personal characters carry over with their current higher level (5th in my case) and gear for higher level player mods? I see mods that allow you to equip characters too with gear. Is there a stash chest type chest or mod (house mod) etc...where you can revisit before new adventures to gear up for higher level adventures? Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

If the module supports it you can export your characters after you complete the adventure/campaign. The official campaigns, unfortunately, do not support exporting (yet).

There are some limitations:
* All gold is distributed evenly (each character receives 1/4 of the party gold)
* Recipes are not preserved
* Bestiary entries are not preserved
* Some custom items (from fan-created content) may not be preserved

There may also be a feature in the "Unfinished Business" mod to export characters but I do not use it so I cannot comment on that.

There's also this player made room you can go into and get pretty much anything in the game then save upon leaving if you need anything

Can you use the supply room in conjunction with the official campaign?

You can only join the official campaign with level 1 characters as far as I know, but you can go to the supply room at any level

I’m going to try going to the supply room at level 1 and then starting the main quest

With unfinished business mod you can export your characters from any campaigns (official ones included). But you cannot import your characters into a loaded game (at least as far as i know).
(I would love to have a import/export character system in Solasta like we had in Neverwinter Nights.)

Try not to get too carried away there's unlimited copies of the books that give you ability points and a permanent increase of 2 points to your max stat, if a vendor runs out of something just go take a long rest by the bed area

If you want a different type of "supply room", called Your Headquarters, where you have to pay for the items and you can craft there too :

( The non-DLC version and DLC version have over 3K subscribers. It is also available on Nexus.)

Just to state the boring part again :
Characters in a main campaign save (Crown of the Magister) or in a DLC save (such as Lost Valley) cannot enter a Dungeon Maker map, and therefore cannot be prepared or tweaked before the Palace of Ice new campaign.

You can though send any character that is visible in the main menu to a Dungeon Maker map. Since Your Headquarters is designed to be an immersive place to sell loot and buy new gear after Dungeon Maker adventures, it does not offer free magical items though (what is free are level 1 recipes, non-magical armor and weapons, tools).

I ended up using supply room myself as the headquarters one was missing a few things, I made a comment on there about it and the campaign creator said they would look into it, that's when I found supply room, not sure if it's still missing those items, one of them was the big crafting ingredient for the best rapier in the base game it wasn't there at the time

Yes, I update the mod (both non-DLC and DLC.)
