Can someone clarify the xp thresholds?
I am working on my own custom campaign, I am trying to have enemies that go up to CR30 with my own unique weapons [1-16], legendary gear, etc. I am trying to balance the progression so that my campaign (45 maps, around 12 hours of content) hits:

My main city: CR 1-4
Ustalav: CR 5-10
Hold of Belkzen: CR 11-14
Abyss: CR 15-22
Hold of Rovagug / Lamashtu / Urgathoa CR23-27
Mendev: CR 28-29
Final boss: CR 30

How much xp would I need for each segment? Does solasta use the regular exp curve as dnd 5thed. In case your wondering about why the setting takes place on Golorian, it's because it's a pathfinder mod. Just using the DM tools as they are easy/ easier then buying a SRD kit as mods do not require being a DM.

I don't know what the numbers are for XP requirements, but there is a function to grant "however much XP is needed to reach level X".

So if you're worried the player might be under-levelled when reaching a milestone, you could add that funtor to a quest reward, dialogue, map gadget, etc. to automatically level them up.

Thanks for the replies. Both are helpful. Gonna review it to make sure my harder encounters do not cause the party to over level. As level party at lvl 1 can take out lvl 3-4 enemies for a hard encounter. Some enemies I have go up to 1000 HP and AC 30 (CR 35 elites). Makes exp curves a bit tricky through out the campaign
