PC and XBOX co-op?

So I have the game on PC. Trying to talk my brother into getting it but he plays on XBox. Can PC and XBox do co-op together? Kind of pointless for him to buy if we can't play together.

Thanks. And sorry if this is common knowledge to everyone, I did look some, but thought it better to just ask current players in case there are workarounds and other options.

It does allow cross platform. I have yet to play with someone on an Xbox so I can't say how well it works only that it is possible.

Yes you can. You can also play user created campaigns off the Xbox if they download from mod.io.
