I would say just do what you think sounds like the most fun and go with it. If you aren't on higher difficulties I think you will be fine just playing the game in whatever way you find enjoyable.
In my current Lost Valley playthrough, I didn't bring a rogue but I have a sorceror with lowlife background and a couple feats that compliment that path. It's not optimal but it's really fun.
Really? Not even willing to just experiment for yourself?
Go away.
There's enduring body, armor master, forest runner, hard to kill, the 'touch' feats, trip attack, and the 'creed' feats.
His attributes are STR 11, DEX 17, CON 19, INT 10, WIS 15, and CHA 9.
That fragile, eh? Fair enough, I should have guessed that to begin with.
Oops, missed that one.
Another reasonable possible option.
It has to do with the ambush system when traveling. Someone who only needs 4 hours of sleep is much more likely to be awake if ambushed while in camped mode.
Thanks. I was thinking ambush was involved, makes sense.
Doesn't seem like a large benefit and some like the ambushes for xp?
I doesn't negate you from being ambushed it just makes it so the person who has the feat or the benefit from a race like elves will be more likely to be awake when the ambush starts.
On your armor master question a monk would have to be wearing armor to get the benefit. To me this negate the idea of a monk who uses dexterity along with dodge to increase their ability to survive direct combat, I found minimal benefit for a monk to take it. You could build for it I suppose just seems to be going against the class concept.
