You can make scrolls from your enemies skin and ask someone to scribe them.
No nature damage this way.
You can only cast spells from those items if you already have access to them as a spellcaster.
Meaning that sword that gives you the option to cast Spirit Guardians 1/day can only be used by your Cleric. And that scroll with revivify can only be used by your paladin or cleric.
Also there is no point in putting them in your quickslot, since you can use scrolls from your backpack. Just like potions, and they take the same action to use.
Actually true only for scrolls. Sword can be used even by fighter, same for various rings/boots/circlets with spells/day.
You sure its not because you modded the game?
A Wardenblade, the sword in your example, can be fully utilized by any character that can wield a Longsword. This includes characters with Martial Weapon Proficiency or Elven Weapon Training (=an Elf). By "fully utilized" I mean that they can cast Spirit Guardians too -- even Fighters with a subclass that cannot normally cast spells.
ps. I play with NO mods.
