Bardic Inspiration
I rolled a natural 1 earlier while selecting the dice roll of bardic inspiration. My understanding is that shouldn't happen as you roll an additional 6 or 8 sided die to add as a modifier. I could see the possibility of a miss still occurring or rolling a natural 2, a natural 1 though should be an improbability.
I also had a case where the healer based one healed for 0 hit points when casting the bardic inspiration on an injured party member. Which is also a head scratcher as it is suppose to use the 8 sided dice along with a charisma modifier.

A nat 1 is a nat 1, doesn't matter what added bonuses you get onto the roll.

If you roll a nat 1 with a +20 bonus, it's still a nat 1 and an automatic miss.

^^^ and a Natural 20 is an Attack hit or Saving Throw success -- regardless of any modifiers -- but Skill Checks can succeed on a Natural 1 or fail on a Natural 20, depending on modifiers and the DC.

If that is the case why would it even give the option to select the inspiration? By the explanation I have heard your only suppose to get the option when it has the chance to make a difference. So something isn't working correctly somewhere.

Your right. A nat 1 is a miss no matter what. so you should NOT get the option.

The only 2 instances where Natural 20s or 1s matter are attack rolls and Death saving throws. Unless Solasta has changed this rule from the SRD, regular saving throws do not take them into account, only the total after modifiers.

From what I can tell that is the only times in Solasta bardic inspiration is for an attack roll or a saving throw when attacked. So when I select to use the bardic inspiration then get a natural one it shows something is not setup right. First as mentioned it shouldn't even be an option on a natural one, if it is then there is no logical way for a natural one to get a modifier to still remain a natural one. The only thing I can think is that somehow the RNG is producing zeros which should be discarded as no dice I have seen used in D&D have a null option.
