Identify wand

I'm playing lost valley, paladin + ranger + druid + sorcerer. So I need the identify wand.
The identify wand has only 5 charges, how do I recharge it? Long rest didnt work.

Where did you even find this item? I notice I'm also in the same situation because I didn't realize that sorcerers can't cast Identify? What a terrible design choice.

Yeah i did the same thing, works out ok as you find so much cash

I bought from a npc. But casting it 5 times identified only half of my items. Since i'm not willing to restart the campaign I just quit.

Haven't played Lost Valley yet so I don't know where it takes place. In the original campaign Gorim and another vendor (I think Wilf) each sell one.

It should regain one charge per day, so a long rest should replenish a single charge for it. That was how it worked in my last playthrough, I only had the one wand and used to identify everything I had.

Then wait until the next day? It recharges every day with 1 more charge. I had no problem identifying every item I got in game with a sorc with an identify wand.

That was precisely my question. The game doesnt explain it recharges once per day, I actually tried a long rest and havent got any charge. I'll try again some time to check if it recharges one charge every day, now I've moved on to a different game. I loved Solasta, but some mechanics are just so obscure.

Long rest is only an 8 hour rest (and you can only do one per day, that's why the game will ask to wait to a new day to start a long rest).

So just long rest again and it'll go to the next day.
