Other bonus actions will not do that. On the first round you summon a Spiritual Weapon you will not be able to attack with it, because Summoning the Spiritual Weapon itself IS the Bonus action.
So you can literally attack... and Summon a Spiritual Weapon. From that point on though the attacks with the Spiritual Weapon are your bonus action. The problem of course being when you cast another spell that IS a bonus action which casting a Light Spell may be if you used it from the Red colored menu.
Casting a spell as either an action or bonus action will prevent you from casting another spell with the other unless it's a cantrip or spell-like ability that isn't a spell. For example, a Paladin could cast Branding Smite as a bonus action and also use Lay on Hands, but could not do both Branding Smite and Cure Wounds.
I have cast multiple spells and still been able to strike with Spiritual Weapon so long as they are normal spells, and I use Spiritual Weapon a great deal.
My point is, if you'd connected the dots, there could be a bug in the game where it is treating moving/attacking with Spiritual Weapon as 'casting a spell' with your bonus action when it is not supposed to, or something along those lines.
Either way, the developers already know Spiritual Weapon is bugged and are attempting to fix it as we speak.
