Your spell save DC is Proficiency + Relevant Ability Modifier + 8.

^^ That, and the pertinent ability modifier is dependent on the spellcasting class.
Wizard = Intelligence
Spellblade = Intelligence
Shadowcaster = Intelligence
Cleric = Wisdom
Ranger = Wisdom
Paladin = Charisma
Sorcerer = Charisma

Your spell save DC will increase if you increase the related ability score modifier via improving the ability score itself at every even level, and it will increase when your proficiency bonus increases to +3 at level 5, and +4 at level 9.

Thank you so much for this. Where is this found in-game? All I see, under Paladin for example, is "Proficiencies: Wisdom, Charisma".

Paladins are proficient in Wisdom and Charisma saves. To find the DC that others need against your spells, go to the spell list for your character and look across the top. You will see Spellcasting ability, Spell attack bonus, Spell save DC, and known/prepared spells.
