Wizard and Fly can not FLY!

Cast Fly on my wizard, and she Fly's but can not cross anything that higher than her Jump limit!? She will not eve fly 3 spaces over a 2 level drop!

Fly is limited, but make sure you're using the vertical plane thingy. I can get about +4 altitude even in a flat area with it.

How do you use the vertical plane? I remember it saying something about it in a pop up, but I have forgotten how and its not in Tutorial section.

left shift or click the button in the center of the map globe in the bottom right. Then mousewheel. It doesn't totally fix fly, but helps in some areas.

It is useful to a point but I found it only really helps when I am trying to gain elevation, there have been times when I am trying to loot a chest but end up hovering over it. To get to the chest I have to move a few squares from it then change the mode to get the person flying on the level the container is.

Not also that. You can use shift button on keyboard to enable elevation. This is sometimes useful to elevate spells like burning hands and direct the cone of fire to flying objects.

The problem isnt that fly is limited, the problem is that the game world is. The sky is NOT the limit, the geometry of the defined dungeon space is. The world simply does not exist above a certain height.
