Sorak Relic side quest at Caer Lem

I'm trying to do the Sorak Relic side quest off of the capitols mission board, but on getting to Caer Lem where the quest points me i am finding nothing new (at least not related to the sorak, i did find new goblins in their cave). I've wandered about the busted up castle and gone through the escape cave already, clearing it of spiders.. no luck. Could someone point me to where the relic is supposed to be?

in the sorak caves, where the camp fire is...
there's some vases or amphorae... ;)

Thanks, walked by there several times and couldn't see that light up. Fight wasn't too bad with a paladin, cleric, ranger and rogue at level 3.

yeah it's hard to see because it's under the edge of the area above
so you need to move the camera around to see it

I seem to be locked out of the area after coming back with the crown says "No Path" when I click on those areas is this intended?

You need to rotate the bridge (again) and manually walk it.
The rotating bridge prevents you from fast traveling by using the map between those two areas even though they are the same map.

So, as far as I can see, there is no item for this quest. I believe I've scoured every square inch of this damned cave and there's nothing. No items, no containers, no fight. Any suggestions?

if you do not have anything interactive where I show the item...then you have 1 of 2 states:

either your save game is bugged (least likely though entirely possible)

OR

you looked at the mission on the board, but closed without accepting the mission. (most likely). Check your Journal. Does the mission show in your journal? If not, then you did not accept the mission, but just closed the community board.

You have to go to the first campsite inside the caves. Then walk along between the fire and the ledge you drop down. Regardless of how high any of your character's perception scores are, the item won't light up until you're standing right on it.

Appreciate the replies. Took me this long to get back to it. I spent a few minutes trying to get a character to walk under the ledge, which I'm pretty sure you can't do. Standing next to the pots did not get the thing to show up, until I tried going cautious. Apparently it only shows up if I'm sneaking.

Sneaking increases your perception checks ;)
