Most of the traps in the game are easy to disable. BUT if you roll a bunch of 1s and 2's even your best trap disabler will fail.
Sorry I can't get spoiler tags to work :(

There were some exploding plants and some lava vents that I couldn't disable but could shoot them instead. All other traps I found I could disable, there were one or two where I failed the check.
Hmm, I had this issue with the Orc area when I had to rescue Brok. None of the traps could be disabled.
Ah, okay; and I don't get a second shot? But it's odd that it happened to every trap in a particular area (when rescuing Brok).
Unfortunately you only get 1 roll, I believe you can get a second roll if you use an ability enhancer like the Cleric spell boost ability for the Dexterity Buff... but its still only 1 do over.
;(
I haven't personally ran in to such a trap however.
I liked that touch, one annoying thing I did find is there where certain objects say like planks on a window that had to be ranged to get through them. The first fight where light really comes in to play wouldn't let my fighter run over to melee them he had to switch to his bow to shoot them out.
So that's what you're supposed to do with the windows? lmao. I wonder what caused this, as I assume it's not intentional it doesn't make any sense to be intentional. Are the planks mechanically out of melee range or something?
If you are standing next to them, you can use melee on the window boards, but for some reason the game does not walk you over there if you do not stand next to them when you want to melee them...
Oh that is good to know I just wanted my fighter to run over there and hit them with his great axe but I got the red x when I moused over but got the bow icon when I switched to range. I guess I just made the assumption there was only one way to interact with them.
Yes that was the same for me too with the lava vents, it didn't even roll to disable them in the log. However shooting them worked to trigger them.
