The only colourful thing in the game is the UI.
Those magic spell icons really stand out. The rest of the game is a mucky grey-brown-green.
If that's your biggest gripe, then I'd say they're doing pretty well. UI would be easy to spruce up.
Simplicity is sometimes nice, too. Endless Legend is well-known for its simple, but classy UI.
I think that's the look they were going for.
Yes, I liked it in Endless Legend, suited that game more. Just like an UI that is more like the setting in the game I'm playing. But not a terrible big deal.
Having fun in this game as I have had so far in BG3 :)
but perhaps something could be done with the color scheme or the borders of the windows to make it look more D&Dish. I get what the OP is saying, but from a functional perspective I think the UI is ace
