Who to wear the crown?
So, I wondered, is there any difference in who gets to wear the crown? Like, race or class like? Or can I go with who I think can use the boni best?

It doesnt make any Difference as of now. Its just a cosmetic Item which gives the Wearer the Ability to revivify an Ally.

If you really wanted to min/max it would be a character that is least likely to die since the revive is on the item.

Personally I chose the person who it looked okay on, but I do think it will start affecting their personality if you care about that.

For RP reasons, only a High Elf is noble enough to wear that crown. Dwarves would just pluck-out and eat the gems like grapes and melt the delicate crown into ingots, Humans would sell it to their fence for a quick fix of "Wacky weed," Halflings would just use it as serving platter for their finest pastries and our lost brothers and sisters of the woods would never wear such a ostentatious symbol of authority and power.

I put it on a female dwarf because it makes her look like a princess. :steamhappy:

According to the plot it has to do with humans "invading" their land. I think it was a human wizard wearing it. So I just made sure I didn't give it to a human. Just in case some old Elf King sees a human wearing it and gets all PTSD.

yeah I gave it to my high elf first, too. Because she is an elf and a wizzard. Because I thought it must have been an old, magical elven relict. But the boni on persuasion works best with my (human) cleric, so... also, that Cleric is a good fighter, so I went with her, as she's not first to die.

Frontline melee imo.

Wow, good catch on the Human side of it.
I DID give it to my Human and he got sick and attuned to it.
Does that same thing happen with all races that wear it or just Humans?

Happens to them all. Have it on a high elf wizard right now and she got sick as well.

Yeah, it happens to anybody you give the crown, from what I have seen.

Does anybody finished the game and can provide spoilers? right now i have 2 saves at the same point: one with a human paladin and other with high elf wizard. I opened another thread about it but let me say again. I have the strong impression the bearer becomes the "protagonist" of the party, ie the story goes around him.

I am stressed because I cannot wear helmets and I found this game has almost none, the only option so far is the full plate that cames with a helmet, but the crown clips it. I dont think i need +9 persuasion and int on my paladin, he also has that golden tongue whatsoever abillity and i pass pretty much all tests.

But I would like to keep him as my main. I also note that my high elf wizard talkes more in some cases when he has the crown and same goes to the human in his save game.

Spoilers please, Am i forced to wear this till the very end?

Put it on someone durable, since the game ends if they die.
Also, the crown gives +2 to certain saves and +2 to two cha skills. Intimidate and persuade?

+1 save vs all / +2 intimidation & persuation / +2 vs necro / +2 vs transmutation / + 2 vs abjuration / 1x revivify / 3x raise dead .. and that's only with 3 gems

Paladin or (battle) Cleric work very well with it.

I put it on my sorcerer who also now has expertise in persuasion and intimidation, which are both at a +15. only +13 for deception :/.
